Thought I'd share. Merry Christmas tigers

Sid Ortis' Christmas stocking hangs on the mantel of his family's Crestline home, a reminder of his everlasting place in a family that misses him terribly.
Though the 16-year-old high school sophomore died nearly two months ago, he not only remains a strong presence for his parents and four siblings, but also for his friends, who were with him when he took his final breath, and for a community that loved him, learned from him and continues to honor him.

After two-and-a-half weeks of nominations and voting, AL.com readers have chosen Sid as Alabama's 2015 Person of the Year. He took nearly 30 percent of the vote in the final poll, almost doubling the number of votes garnered by the first runner-up, Noah Galloway.
The top five selected for Person of the Year were:
Sid Ortis, the Alabama teen and LSU superfan who died in October following his battle with bone cancer;
#FreeUAB, the movement that successfully rallied to revive UAB football after the program was killed in Dec. 2014;
Noah Galloway, the Alabama veteran and double amputee who won third place on "Dancing with the Stars;"
Eli Thompson, the Alabama baby who is in 1 in 197 million born without a nose;
Derrick Henry, the Crimson Tide running back who was awarded the Heisman Trophy for the 2015 season.
