The only team they played in the regular season who made it to the tourney was East Carolina, and EC swept them... Although they have played well so far in the tourney, they are statistically a very good team, but this series should be interesting!

Be careful what you wish for. Yeah, their schedule is week but they have still won more games than anyone else in the tournament. Their bats just dropped 50 runs in 5 games in Miami. Their centerfielder was just drafted in the 1st round and they have a legit ace.

Stony Brook was swept by the one decent team they played. It's funny to see people complain about LSU's 4 games against RPI 200+ all season long, yet all of a sudden show some fear if a team that has over 40 games against RPI 200+. Stony Brook is not on LSU's level in any remote way.

Not much of a schedule but they did beat ACC, Big 12 and Big 10 teams. If anyone thinks an underdog can't come in and win 2 of 3, they don't know much about baseball.
