Should LSU Stop Having Night Games at Tiger Stadium?

Or, maybe move the games up to 5pm? Or, 4pm?
Home games used to start at 8pm years ago - back when Tiger Stadium was Tiger Stadium.
Now, games start at 6pm or 6:30pm and they go too late because half the stadium has to leave by 8pm.
So, should games start earlier so that all those who are old and tired and who need to get to bed can do so before 9pm?
I say that we start games at 4pm so that those who like Saturday Night in Death Valley have to stay till the 4th quarter to experience it.
So, should Alleva move the games up 2 hours to satisfy the fanbase who pays for the tickets? Because, clearly, LSU fans no longer like staying past 8pm for a football game.

You remember the Florida game last year? The excuses will change from too late to too hot.

I wonder if it would actually work. The night would still be young, so MAYBE people will be less likely to be in a rush to get home/go out.

I don't know why they can't stay. Our best performance of the season and watching these young guys get better before our eyes.
Just fricking stay and enjoy it.

I like night games...but I have to admit, pulling into my driveway at 3AM after home games is starting to get old...

I don't think we decide that. It's a tv schedule thing

Yep. Soon it will be too cold because it is dark.
So, move the games up earlier a couple of hours and that way it will be warm/cool enough and people can get home early/late enough.
Honestly, if LSU ticket holders don't care about Saturday night in Death Valley then I don't either. What I care about is the team being supported from start to finish in big games.

I stayed the whole game but it was the second hottest game I have been to. Appalachian state at 11 was #1

Don't just blame the older people. What about all the 'Tier 1 Texas students' who just became LSU fans at age 18 when the acceptance letter hit the mailbox?
There are plenty of reasons, and fans of all ages to blame for TigerStadium's demise.

People will call you stupid but the night games are definitely playing into people leaving early.. Combine the time it takes to get home, the increased tv time, the increased amounts of people in and around the stadium, the drink till you drop attitude of way to many people and you have a recipe for people leaving early during night games..

If you spend the money to buy a ticket to the game, you have the right to arrive and leave whenever the frick you want to. Everyone that keeps bitching about it can get over it.

The problem partially lies with the TV networks. People don't want to sit in the stadium for 4 hours to watch a football game. The TV timeouts are bogus, and by the 4th quarter, fans are exhausted and hungry, and just tired of bullshite.
I stay because I know it's the right thing to do. But there are a lot of games when I feel like it should be over by now, when the 3rd quarter is just ending.

The traffic hassle has a lot to do with people leaving early.

Does anyone think that fans leaving early is a response to the Dave Brandon-ization of CFB rather than some decline in the quality or passion of the fanbase?
