If Michigan is able to go to Florida for spring practice, why don't we one up them, and go to somewhere exotic?

US Samoa makes some sense.
Actual US football is played there.

You're missing the whole point of why Michigan is doing this.

Are there a bunch of 5* recruits in Tahiti I'm unaware of?

Actually not a bad idea in theory. There doesn't have to be talent there. You get to tell recruits we're going to take you to some exotic location free every year if you come to LSU.

I see your point, but that's not going to happen. I think it's more about building the brand and expanding a recruiting base in talent rich areas. Yes, Florida is a great place to go as well.

I would propose letting Coach O pick a venue in Southern Cali for a week long practice. I'd say Southern Cali is just as talent rich as Florida and still a great place to take players for a practice. Hopefully we could let coaches recruit some top players out there that we would otherwise never have a chance at. Invite them to practices. Give them a SEC red carpet. In addition, create a rapport with the powerhouse HS coaches out there. Seems like a good idea, maybe not.

I've been to Bora Bora and trust me the only athletes there are the ones that can climb coconut trees and twirl flaming sticks of fire.
