what about free throws?

Shaq could have spent a full year chained to Larry Bird's driveway practicing with the Legend hmself and still shot less than 60% from the foul line.

He didn't know how tall the kids were etc. I dunno how much thought he put in.

Martin could have vaulted himself into being a lottery pick. That's a nice pay bump.

the signing bonus alone would have been worth the chance to take......these kids just see dollar signs and don't actually put much thought that they could make MORE,

their thought process....."all them people say i aint ready....ima show em....ima show em....."

You're talkin' out the side of your neck.

Shaq consistantly improved in scoring rebounding assists and turnovers his first three years. Look up his stats.

I don't need to look up stats. His game was largely unchanged from college...lots of alley-oops and dunks. He already had a drop step and he added a baby hook...that's about it.

I'm not talking about numbers. His game was basically the same..he just got more powerful.

But especially Mickey. He needed to work on all facets of his face-up game with Dupree, like how to attack on the bounce and make midrange jumpers consistently.
He can still work on all that.

jeezus H! it was a fricking joke! and not one person picked up on it, what is it about coming to this board that makes otherwise normal seeming posters so fricking obtuse, tunnel visioned, and devoid of any sense of humor?

I feel they can develop more against NBA talent than college talent.

JOB3 isn't doing a whole lot of developing riding Milwaukee's bench.

He's right - they're not!!

Its easy to see , these guys were given terrible advice. Both have a very good chance to be playing overseas in 3 years. Martin has a shot to stay longer on skill set only.

I agree. He could have been the first pick over Chris Webber in '93 instead of the first pick over Alonzo Mourning in '92. That's much better off.

Should watch the shaq and dale thing tonight.

He was tbinking about leaving early and Dr. J came and spoke with him. He basically wasn't ready to go out in the real world just yet, not wanting the financial responsibility that he would take on.
