Of a time where Curley's Corner was an abandoned, neglected wasteland needing repair.....

Of a time where there was nothing but broken dorm windows surrounding the stadium.....

Of a time when you could smell those bathrooms from a mile away.....

Of a time when the stands were so empty that you could buy tickets "2-for-1".....

Of a time when people held up four tickets to a game and said "just gimme whatever ya got".....

Of a time where we couldn't even beat Kentucky in Tiger Stadium...... KENTUCKY?

Of a time where you waited for baseball season because it was the only thing we had going for us.....

Of a time that just GOING to a bowl game was an accomplishment.....

Of a time that beating Tulane was an accomplishment.....

Memories.....

Been there, don't care to go back

It's sad that this fanbase has Miles fired already and already has his replacement hired

I hear you and remember a time I couldn't give my season tickets away. But all the "entitled" fans we have now think any idiot can win 10 games a year and somehow think there's a number of top flight coaches who could do better (i.e, beat Bama regularly) that would be lining up for the job (wishful thinking if you ask me). Miles deserves at least another year. The talk about Aleva's doings and rumors that Miles is coaching for his job is an embarrassment. For all those jumping for joy at the prospect of getting rid of Miles, let's hope LSU doesn't turn into Nebraska. I wonder if all of their fans that wanted to get rid of Pelini would be happy with 9 wins and going to a bowl this year?

Remember them days well. Is it time to maybe change, possibly. If nothing else the program could use a good breathe of fresh air. We need to be careful what we wish for. Just out of curiosity I looked at possibly replacements, folks their just isn't much out there.

Remember that time Florida St shoved Bobby Bowden out the door? Remember that time Alabama shoved Mike Shula out the door? Remember that time Florida shoved Ron Zook out the door?

This. It's amazing how many of these people accept mediocrity for fear of change. This program is in a much different place than where it was then and has a strong foundation in place. Miles is a great man and was a great CEO style head coach for us but he has stalled and his time here is getting stale. Best for both parties to move on to the future.

So what's your plan? Keep Les until he dies? I mean he can't coach forever, y'all..

Thank you.

I would like to know the demographic of LSU fans that want Miles gone.

Something tells me the majority never saw Jamie throw 6 INTs in the 4th Q to be devastated or Hodson throw the game winner.

In fact, I assume most had they even been around then; would be the ones sending death threats to Jamie Howard.

Sad really.

Speaking of Curley, the back-to-back 17-point losses to Arkansas are the worst consecutive losses LSU has had to them since...Curley Hallman.

Have you won 8 major conference football games?
If not then it proves an idiot can't.

I remember the Hallman days. I remember the Dinardo days, good and bad. I also remember I enjoyed and looked forward to LSU Football games during those days, win or lose. This crap we see now sometimes isn't even enjoyable when we win.

Went to college in those years and don't ever want to go back. That's why I don't want to settle for the mediocrity that has become Miles.

I was there.

Bought my season tickets in Hallman's last season.

I remember when the wheels came off at the end of Archer's tenure. Same for Dinardo.

LSU is capable of so much more than the product that is being put on the field.

Mediocrity is unacceptable.
