40 seconds to get the next play off and

- LF is walking in slowly,
- Guice trots off the field,
- Dupre comes in late from the sideline, bypasses the huddle and goes to the far side of the field (think the ball might be going to him?),
- BH finally gathers the huddle, they break with 6 seconds on the play clock,
- Rush to the line and barely get off the snap for a toss dive right that gets stuffed,
- lucky they didn't score cause it would have been called back for Jeter not even having time to get set.

A&M really sucks to lose to us.

The defense of aTm actually played well, our defense just played better.

LSU plays beat the play clock consistently every game.

I was pulling my hair out in the stands at that series. You are right, we weren't set, and I don't need dvr to help me. I saw it live. We might have gone for it on 4 the down had we not lost two yards on the play.

Yep

And that was the last game of the season, not the first

We should have blown them out. That game encapsulated everything that sucks about a Miles coached team.

There was no chance the play was going anywhere but to the power side in a toss dive... we had 40 seconds and blew it with nothing else to distract. No massive subs, no meerkat, no player injured just enough to shake out the cobwebs and stay in the game. Nothing.

Not one damn reason for breaking the huddle with 6 seconds other than lolly-gagging.

This from a team that loves it's coach so much it was playing a "statement" game.

It was unreal.

When have we broke from a huddle in hurry up, rushed to the line to get set, and run anything but a toss dive?

And I'm convinced we run hurry up only to see our senior offensive linemen false start.

Our offensive coordination is so bad. We come out trying to pass early vs a team that is the worst vs the run, when all we can effectively do is run. We eliminate our QB as a viable running option, but line up in shotgun w one back sets and run read options w/o allowing a read or an option. Our QB carries out fakes w no defenders within 10 yards of him.

Bleed purple and gold, but found myself pulling for A&M just for the betterment of the program. I don't need to see next season, it's already been played. I know there are way more people there only for the party, but I love the game of football, and what we witness offensively at LSU insults my intelligence.

Anyone expecting anything different from this season and the season before, etc, is delusional. It will be the same offensive ineptness, squandered potential and general underachieving.

This is ALL coaching, folks. ALL COACHING.

Look at the confusion and hesitation. I'll bet that if we did a critical study of Coach Miles's practices, we would find a lot of room for improvement.

This crap has been going on for years. Coach Miles, you'd better unfrick this situation pronto . . . please . . . Sir.

do u boys ever watch anyone else play college ball? Or is your ignorance so strong that you've actually convinced yourselves that LSU is the only team doing this? Coaches have LOST critical games this year for poor clock mgt. How about the great cam newton taking a delay of game on 3rd and 8 from the 37 yard line barely in FG range. This stuff happens every week across the SEC. But let let LSU do it and the coach is an idiot. Give it a break at least compare games to games and make a real argument.
We lost to a very complete team in Bama.
Arky was a winnable game That's fair to criticize.
Ole Miss is the better team this year Ndnothing went right in that game early and being on the road the game got away from us.
Btw- Oklahoma lost to Texas. North Carolina lost to South Carolina. Arky to Toledo. Ole miss to Memphis. Florida needed OT to beat fau. But we're the only school that Can't get set.
Somehow you've convinced yourselves that Louisiana has all this high school talent that noone else has. You think anyone can turn in a top class and get a top QB to boot and beat Alabama on the regular.
Jumbo fisher doesn't agree with u but keep convincing yourself that les isn't a hall of fame coach.
Makes for good theatre in here.
Here's an idea set your DVR to CLM strategically placing Guice in the game and skull freaking Chavis on the reverse. Only turned the game in our favor but who's paying any attention to that.

Yes, other schools have had some head scratchers. And yes, other schools commit penalties. But LSU is ranked 120 out of 127 in penalties per game. I'm too lazy to go look, but I'm gonna bet that more than 1/2 are pre snap.

And it's not just this year, but every year. Pre snap penalties are a discipline issue. Especially when we commit the same amount at the end of the season as the beginning year after year.

Hears what I like to guage a team on, does that team get better as the year goes on? I see teams make mistakes all the time but LSU seems to make the same mistakes game after game and year after year. Can you blame that on coaching?
