Seems imperative at this point, would be at least part of the gameplan? Especially with Keith Hornsby out. Seems like we are going to need more than his average of 19 points and we may need upwards 25-30 and more boards than usual tonight at Arkansas they will probably cloud him defensively like the volunteers did Saturday.

Ummm...Simmons name doesn't belong in this state. The statement should read...

quote:

Time for Jones to take over

He's the damn head coach, act like it and lead your damn team to right the ship

Not gonna happen. When you play "all out" like your life depends on it, you are always close to getting injured. The worse thing he can do at this point is to have a serious injury. What you see is what you get with this dude. Oh by the way.... he's shooting about the same percentage from the free throw line that he did his senior year of high school so don't expect any improvement. The season is basically over. These last few games are gonna be hard to watch. Truth.

He shouldn't care about getting injured since he's probably coming back for his sophomore year amirite?

I really don't care anymore at this point. What needed to be done should have been done a long time ago

He'd rather pass the ball than take over

Simmons is not going to take over anything except for teenage Australian girls hearts when he is playing in the NBA next year.

He's too young to take over. Pass it on away.

Not in his DNA. Simmons is not a born leader, and he sure as hell isn't going to learn it from Jones .
