With a Spring Game which is basicly a practice? Spring games are really just a waste of time and are simply boring. If you were expecting a great performance which resembles anything close to a finished product then you either have never been to a Spring Game or are very naive.

I watched several Spring Games on TV yesterday and I can't tell you anything about the teams based on what I actually witnessed. I saw nothing that was truly impressive. When the season rolls around teams will be totally different and that includes LSU.

Wrong! The rant can tell after 15 practices the offense is terrible and they'll be lucky to ever get a first down.

Yeah, I believe many of the Rant's members and posters are Junior High age kids with zero knowledge of football.

Apparently, you missed Bama's spring game.

In a vacuum, sure. SG doesn't matter. When you're on a nearly unbroken 10-year run of generally mediocre to poor QB play and offensive output, people are going to be concerned.

No I didn't miss the Bama Spring Game but Saban didn't unleash his Defense on his young QBs either. So exactly what impressed you? The fact that the offense moved the ball against a makeshift defense not going after a freshman QB or do you honestly think that those two QBs are going to shred Saban's defense like that if they really were trying?

The freshman QB played high school ball in Hawaii. Do you think that is what prepared him to play at the SEC level and go thru Saban's Defense like crap thru a goose?

Wake up. Lol.

Most years a number of ranters have thought the spring game was a success and the QB problem was solved.

So maybe this is a good sign

I agree, it doesn't tell you much about scheme and the total product, but I think many here were hoping to see a vast improvement from Etling and, honestly, he looked like he regressed. He made some absolutely horrible throws last night.

Obviously the so-called experts have taken time to tell us we are a .500 team because as usual we have no QB. The rest of the 100 or so teams looked really good.

Most the people on the rant don't even attend games. Another chunk never attended the school. It is like Alabama's bad fans.
