Correct, none of those were hired away by the nfl. But, all of them received interest for an nfl head coaching position with the exception of brown (which I could be wrong as brown received interest as an oc).
Miles is ridiculed by fans and coaches alike across the country.

yes...i want to "pad the stats" by using his entire tenure

And apparently you just happen to be so mind-numbingly dumb that you think that the clear and obvious trajectory that the program is on shouldn't matter a bit with regard to him possibly losing his job.

HE HAS 111 WINS!!! HOW COULD WE POSSIBLY FIRE HIM???

Jesus!!! I told Gray Tiger he was the worst poster on this site just yesterday and now I have to backtrack.

Idiot.

Even with a history of grotesque mismanagement, LSU FB is the twelfth winningest program in CFB history. Think about that. Even with bumpkins in the AD, even missing out on Spurrier by sheer inmbecility, and hiring Hallman and Archer, even with Bo Rein's tragic death, even after clinging to McClendon for too long, we have still managed to best the vast majority of programs in the nation. It's remarkable and a testament to the inherent potential of the job. We've always been a sleeping giant.

God damn the unfounded inferiority complex that governs this fanbase and the state of Louisiana..

Between 2001 and 2011 we won the west 5 times and played in BCS Bowls 5 times with 2 NC and 1 NC Game. That's elite.

Since 2011 we have never won the west or sniffed a BCS/NY6 Bowl Game.

Nice summary.

LSU football as we know it died on 1/9/12 at approx 8:15 pm.

And has not recovered.

We've shown flashes of brilliance... some close games against Bama and the upset of #3 Ole Miss... but geez, that's about it.
