SEC wins over last three years - LSU is tied for 6th with Ole Miss and State

Alabama 21-3
Georgia 16-8
Missouri 15-10
Auburn 14-10
Florida 14-10
Ole Miss 13-10
LSU 13-10
Miss. St. 13-10
It's not just the 3 losses to Alabama.
2 to Ole Miss
2 to Arkansas (out of their 6 wins)
1 each to Georgia, Auburn, Miss St.
The 2 Arkansas losses are the ones that hurt the most. 15-8 would look much better at 3rd in the SEC over the last 3 years and there probably wouldn't be much talk of the future direction of the program.
The little things matter, and that is where many fans see room for improvement that would make the difference in one or two games a year.

A pretty damn terrible stretch.
IMO the 2014 and 2015 losses to Arky were 2 of the more sincere arse kickings of them all.

To me it's how we're losing and the continuous offensive ineptitude. How you lose matters. Our passing offense is atrocious and our coach has no clue how to get it done. Absolutely mind boggling that we can't recruit or develop a QB worth a shite. We can't even complete simple throws. We have zero go to plays in our passing game. Not 1.

He had a clue in 2013 though? We are recruiting the WRONG type of qb for our offense....that's the real prob

Soo.. out of the teams that play in the toughest Divison in college football, we are one win away from second place behind the program that has the best college football coach of all time...sky is falling!!!

LOL no. Miles recruited a JUCO QB that had Jarvis Landry and Odell Beckham as WRs. If we have to rely on all of that NFL level stuff just to have a respectable passing game, something is HORRIBLY wrong.
Brandon Allen would have sucked arse at LSU still. He has improved leaps and bounds every year he has been at Arkansas though.

Nice stats
It's easy to see the decline

Good realistic post. Especially for those in the media at ESPN and outsiders who simply look at the overall win ratio against weaker teams. The games that count against good teams, we are in a steady decline the last three or four years. They clearly have not watched the last two to three years of just incompetent head scratching offense, declining defense, and with a very poor coaching hire, special teams decline.

I have to agree the losses to Arkansas are what hurt the most.
The flip side to the argument has already been stated, but a win on Saturday puts you 2nd place in the West behind the greatest coach in college football at this time.
