Is there anything else I'm missing to be able to get SEC Network+?

Also, do I even need a cable subscription?

Can't you stream it on your laptop (ESPN3.com) if you have a cable subscription?

If you have a smartv that has the espnwatch app then no need for the laptop and hdmi.
Also amazon firestick works great, just plugs into USB port on tv.
Obviously, Internet is a must.
When I signed up on watchespn app I had to use my cable provider information to be able to sign in and stream.

That should do it. I have Comcast high speed internet and DirecTV service. I connect to WatchESPN or ESPN3 (for CST games) on my laptop (with my DirecTV account logged in), hook my laptop to my 60" HD TV through an HDMI cable and I watch Hi Def LSU sports on my TV.

That works for me, and at one point I just had cable internet, no cable box / tv service.

This might have been answered in another thread but did anyone ever figure out why the 1st two series games were not on the Xbox WatchESPN app? I could watch on the apple device app but couldn't get it on the Xbox app.

I use slingtv. Paying $25/month with the ESPN package plus 40ish for Internet. Can't beat it. I got rid of cable. Saving $100+/month. Roku + Internet + Netflix for the wife and everyone can watch what they want.

Sure that works but kind of a clunky/outdated way to go about it.

I had the same problem. Not sure what the issue was.

You need some sort of subscription to use the WatechESPN app, cable, dish, sling, espn directly, etc.

Just to luck out that CST isn't picking up the game which could black out the game in your area.

I watched them both on my Xbox. Sometimes you have to hunt around for the game but I've never failed to find it.

exactly what im about to do

and to the OP, just get a chromecast ($35) and download watchespn to your phone. Runs seamlessly in the background. Doesnt drain your battery. Phone still works like normal.

I can stream anything I want from my Surface Pro to the Chromecast wirelessly as well.
