...I don't see the problem with that if you can make a lot of money off of the seats. I had previously been to every game this year only to be continually disappointed and disgusted so much that I have lost interest in this season. Not much to play for. I sold my two season tickets to a Bama fan on ebay for $600. I don't see what the problem is with selling your tickets if the team is playing awful.

It's rude and inconsiderate. It ruins the experience for the other season ticket holders who sit near you. I buy season tickets so that I can share my game experience with other, sympathetic LSU fans, not so I can hear trash talk and smack from opposing fans.

If you have to sell the tickets, sell them to other LSU fans.

This will be an interesting debate on here. But sometimes you have to look out for yourself and take the money.....

ETA: I wouldn't do it, but I could see how others would, depending on financial situation.

this is the problem with our crowd this season. sure it's easy to root for your team when they're winning championships. if you're selling your ticket b/c you don't like the way the team is playing that's crazy. season ticket holder talking like that...sounds like a bandwagon fan with a little money.

judging by your username, you are a bama fan

if you aren't, then you are an obvious bandwagoner if you don't see what's left to play for

1. Pride
2. Next Season's preseason ranking
3. Bowl Game
4. Find out our future in certain positions (like QB, WR, CB)
5. Finishing the season on a strong note to give our players confidence going into next season
6. Winning down the stretch could help recruiting

Must be one of the fans we picked up around 2003.

I have 6 season tickets, but only used 5 tickets for the Bama game. I sold one ticket to a Bama fan for face value.

I had the most obnoxious bama fans sitting right behind me in a season ticket holder's seats. The guy would giggle right in my ear everytime bama did something positive or if we screwed up which in this game with 4 picks was plenty. The girl he was with would start hollering go bama repeatedly every time we cheered. This doesn't sound to bad but the squeeky twang of the Alabama hills was almost unbearable. Please refrain from selling season tickets to bama fans. I beg of you. By the way I started mocking him to his face after the first quarter every time we made a positive play. I just couldn't help myself. You should have seen his face after the blocked field goal. Priceless.

This happens everywhere. At Troy's first home game this year, I had to sit next to a family of Alcorn State fans. Not what I expected to see after buying what are pricy seats in Troy. I'm sure it is nothing compared to what season tickets cost for LSU games, but for me it was a good chunk of change for 5 home games. They sat there, not even watching the game, talking to all sorts of people on their cell phone, and after their band, which is another story altogether, got done playing at the half, they got up and left. Of course their team was down by over 50 pts at the half, but it was obvious they only came to watch the vulgar band hump the field during their performance at halftime.

I've only got one season ticket, and would love to add at least one if not two more. The seats next to me are always someone different. Had to sit next to Georgia and Bama fans this year. The athletic department needs to come up with a way to take these tickets from scalpers who obviously own them, and sell them to the TRUE Tiger fans.

He couldn't see my face, I was sitting in front of him. I'm sure it would have been a sight. The difference though is I wasn't bragging about how great we were throughout the game. I remember saying to my wife thats the game as soon as the bama player fell down with the ball in his hands. I figured lightning wouldn't strike twice. By the way, I knew he would go for the quick score because that's what he did in the overtime against Tennessee in the first overtime in Tiger Stadium during his tenure.

Well, last minute I ended up with a single in the lower bowl on the 45. Arrived literally 5min before kickoff, did not see one LSU fan looking for a single, so I put it in the air right before I walked in, was about to give the ticket away so we could go in, but ended up selling to a bama kid for face. Good experience, not obnoxious at all, took all the comments from others such as "bama sucks", "bama aint beat nobody" (that coming from our fans who have a crystal ball that included losses to Ark & UK which is kind of funny) in stride. He was just buying it to "get in the stadium" and try to get to the AL secion, but when I told him where it was, he said he would probably come sit there.

little nicky you sound like the type of bandwaggoner fan that is ruining the atmosphere of TS.

Let me gues you usually leave after the 3rd quarter if we are winning/losing big as well?

So did you do the same thing in the seasons other than 2003 and 2007? I hope all the bandwagoners who were disappointed in our team this year refuse to spend their hard earned money on tickets next season. Maybe I'll move up a few spots on the waiting list

I agree. If I can't go to the game I sell them to LSU fans or do not sell them at all.

If you can't afford them, then don't buy them. And if you aren't interested, then don't come back. Its simple. We needed every single LSU fan saturday, people like you piss me off.
