This reminds me that nobody eats their own quite like LSU fans. Unbelievable.

He'll get it straightened out. He had a back injury during pre-draft training. That's one of the main reasons he failed his physical. It's hard to work out and stay in NFL shape with a back injury.

Great guy who stopped caring and let down himself and the fans.

Watching Big Sam turn into a slacker was painful.
This year will be addition by subtraction for LSU.
Maybe a bit less talented, but a lot more motivated.

disagree on the talent comment, we are reloaded, you are spot on with the Motivated part, lots of competition at many positions

Lavar Edwards was better last year than Sam. FACT.

Not really that bold of a statement.

Count me in the minority, I guess: I still love Sonic Sam and am fully expecting him to pan out well for the Texans. As someone said, he's had minor physical issues this spring/summer.

Well it didn't take long for him to be reactivated.

Boom. People freaking out over nothing. I guarantee you it had something to do with his back injury

We have a really insecure fanbase that will turn on any player with a slightly negative report about them because well idk why

One report of Sam being out of shape and people on here act like hes jordan Jefferson

I remember hearing a story about Leonard Marshall reporting out of shape his rookie season with the Giants. Bill Parcells called him for a "come to Jesus" meeting and he got the message. His pro career turned out pretty good. Hopefully Sam get the same message and responds in the same way.

Actually, in some people's eyes in this thread it makes me a "retard".

Sam put up better number and put them up in bigger games.

As he should have, considering he played way more snaps. Edwards played his arse off whenever he was in the game.

You hate to see it coming from a Tiger but it happens. One would have thought that Sam got the message when he dropped where he did in the draft, but I guess they are going to have to beat the lazy out of him. Something tells me they will. Hopefully he gets on the right track he has the potential to be great in the NFL, let's just hope he lives up to his potential because glimpses of greatness will only get you so far in the NFL.

Dwayne Bowe got put on the list today.

Guess the Rant hates him now. TPOS, overrated, lazy, untalented, Lafell was better etc etc
