We all know the end is near for Miles and this staff. If not this year then very likely next year but we need to be thankful for how Miles has represented this program.

If this is how it ends, we need to show the man the respect he's earned.

Yes, his coaching needs to be criticized but keep it classy, he deserves it.

It will make LSU a much more appealing place if we avoid the slime that often comes with these situations.

Here's to the future because this program has the talent to be special in the very near future.

A narcissistic bunch around here.

This has been said so many times. Why does everyone feel we need to hear their version of it?

But be ready for those who have zero ability to be respectful

I agree..I like the man and love what he has done for the university. I was certain that in 2007 we had something special and I was right; the best era of LSU football. But, when it ends it ends and the sour taste of recent defeat trumps the sweet taste of former victory for alot of people.

My opinion of Miles hasn;t really changed. I feel the same today about the man as I did yesterday, I just don't want him to coach the team anymore.

I will root for him and I will stay till the end of the aTm game regardless of the score and outcome to sing the alma matter with him and the team...but the next time the team takes the field I don't want him leading them.

It has to happen this yr. next year, LSU is going to be good, regardless of who the coach is. Les would very likely win 10 games next yr and that would really put LSU in a tough spot. As much as I like Les as a person and how he has represented the school with class, I'm sure everyone in the know realizes this probably needs to happen now.

Meh, he makes a boatload of money and knows that high expectations are part of that. I agree on keeping things classy but it's hard for me to feel sorry for a guy who is going to be paid millions upon millions. He's earned the criticism just as much as he's earned respect IMO.

I'm right there with you.

I've been far more critical of his coaching than most but I wish it would have worked.

He needed to find the right coordinators and let them do their jobs, manage the game, program, and recruiting but he has failed at finding the right coordinators and staying out of the way.

I hate that we are here.
