Frustrating times had hit after a gut wrenching loss vs Auburn. I remember when Saban went onto the field and put his hands on Travis Daniels. I wanted him fired immediately. He crossed the line that day and I'm happy that our players haven't been treated in that manner under Miles. With that being said, Les falls into a laid back category that his players sorta follow at times.

I don't like how Saban acts but I also don't like when lsu makes a bone headed play and the camera pans to Miles and he is smiling.

The players need to be absolutely terrified of getting dumb penalties. They should be terrified of running until they puke.this year our oline has more penalties called on them than any lsu team since 2000. It was horrible. It's a direct result of the players not being afraid of the consequences.

This just in Saban is an a-hole and that is part of what makes him great. Les is not an a-hole and that is part of his flaws.

Na. Saban acts like a damn child. He demands composer of his players yet loses his shite. Belichick isn't a screamer. Urban Meyer isn't a screamer.

What a random, crazy post. First, it's well-documented that several of Saban's former LSU players love him. Saban's exacting demeanor hasn't stopped the best high school players in America from signing him with him on an annual basis, has it? Second, you make Travis Daniels sound like an abused twenty-two year old housewife. I'm certain he survived Saban's vicious beating. Third, Saban wins championships in part because he is so demanding.

$4 years in the NFL, in no small part thanks to Saban.

Saban gets recruits because he wins and gets them to the NFL. If he didn't do that his demeanor would not work.

Just to clarify: If Miles' players last 4 years in the NFL is it thanks to him?... or does this only apply to Saban?

ARE YOU KIDDING ME?

SO YOU'D RATHER NOT HAVE A COACH THAT UPSETS PLAYERS AND IS GOING FOR HIS 5TH NATIONAL TITLE OVER ONE THAT THE PLAYERS LIKE?

THIS IS WHY LSU IS DOOMED. STUPIDITY LIKE THIS. WE NEED ANOTHER EMMERT WHO GETS IT TO FIND US A COACH WHO CAN BRING IT.

Wasn't there an altercation in the locker room after the Capital One bowl loss?

Saban is just a master of using his resources to net gain. Miles invested heavily in a run game this year that wasn't prepared for big time action. And Saban went outside the locker room and brought in Coker. Miles doesn't like outsiders. 2 different styles: similar recruits, facilities, players, very different results. Travis Daniels likely doesn't give a shite about Saban. David Greene was just on fire that day and it pissed Saban off to no end.
