Rumor - Texas (supposedly) will offer Nicky $100 mil.- - $10 million/yr. over a 10-year stretch. Who knows. They certainly can afford it, and his ego tells him he is worth that much. I just think Nick wants to become a legend, like the Bear. Alabama is his only chance to achieve legendary status, to make it in the history books, as it were. If he leaves, not only will he blow any chance of dying as a legend, but they will tear his statue down and everyone in the state will do Number 1 & Number 2 on it!!!

Do you think that would stop him from signing another one way contract and taking the money?

If anyone can out pay a coach it is Texas. They got over $300 Mil to blow just off of espn. He might take the offer considering he would have all of Texas to recruit and he is in a easy win conference.

Hope the Gumps don't see this rumor. It will break their little hearts. Reality of this rumor is, sexton pimping Gumps for Nick's annual raise!

Penn St?

Boy do they need someone with stature to restore order in a big way. 10 million a year is cheap for whats going on their now. Recruits are bailing on them left and right.

Bingo

And if he beats LSU in a rematch he will bend them over.

If he doesnt he can either bend them over or leave (Thus still having bent them over)

Thats what happens when bammers money was used to trump their tradition.
