I'm thinking about driving down from VA since I've never been between the hedges and taking an RV. Does anyone know if/how to obtain overnight parking privileges?

There are offsite places. We are staying at a place, I think, called Riverside RV. It is about 3 miles from Sanford, but they have a shuttle service.

Thinking about renting one in Atlanta. Anyone know how or how hard it is to get an RV spot on campus?

It is not an RV rental. The OP was asking about bringing his RV down. This place has ~20 RV parking spots. $125 for Friday and Sat nights. Shuttle to and from the game is like $20 per person I think.

RV'd to the 2009 game. RV parking is a hassle. We paid $300 for Fri-Sun. It was in a business parking lot near RR tracks. It was too far to walk to the stadium. We paid an old man $5 each and hopped in his truck bed for a ride to the stadium area. We took a cab back. Athens has a scrip club for what its worth.

We stayed at Bulldog Park last time and we are staying there again this year. Very nice place and they shuttle you to and from the game. LINK /
