So cool seeing his hard work being rewarded! Staying in the NFC South. Anyone seen the details of his contract? Sorry if late.

Wish we could've gotten him going in our offense some way. Regardless, shout out to you Russell! Proud of you man.

Incredible how he carved out a career for himself despite by being hampered in his development by Con Man Les.

Awesome! They need someone to stretch the field.

You mean it's incredible that Les had the foresight to move Shep to WR so he'd have a chance at a NFL career

Pleased post Shep's super awesome stats as a WR while at LSU.

Don't kid yourself, Miles almost ruined that kid's career. Props to Shep for his hard work and determination.

Perhaps Miles taught him how to stay dedicated and work hard to overachieve with limited talent...kind of like Miles did.

He only had adaquate hands and was an inconsistent route runner at LSU. His athleticism didn't immediately translate to him being a great receiver. Those skills can take a while for some guys to develop.

He still isn't a great receiver

Unfortunately we'll never know. Go look at his ratings as a QB coming out of high school and the teams that were recruiting him as a QB, stop being such an idiot just to create an argument. Go research and be educated on the topic, you're making a fool of yourself.

You can't say he didn't receive great instruction at the position, his WR coach was the same as Odell and Jarvis who were as polished coming out of college as they come.

He's just not a natural in terms seeing the field and ball skills. Being forced to excel on special teams and in run blocking is actual why he is in the league still

Miles could have given him a much better college experience, sure: Better QB play to get him the ball, more creative ways to get him the ball, shite leave him as a scrambling QB even. Miles absolutely helped him in terms of collecting a paycheck in the NFL though.

He's on an NFL roster because he has an unselfish attitude (understands he's not going to get a lot of touches and can still help the team) and is a serviceable receiving threat that excels on special teams and getting his hands dirty in the running game
