Is he in the concussion protocol?
Posted on 9/17/17 at 4:22 pm to lsu711
Did the perfect pass that hit him in the face give him a concussion?
Posted on 9/17/17 at 4:25 pm to lsu711
He may need a visor.
Pointy end of the ball can put an eye out.

His hands are the problem however

Well, good news for you. This next recruiting class is LOADED with a bunch of (3*) "try hard guys"

I knew the fans on here were crazy when they thought he was the 2nd receiver on team after his touchdown catch last season. Before that, fans were ready to murder him after the dropped passes

Hopefully not playing the rest of the year.
Where's Dee Anderson? He can catch.

That takes care of one the 16 incompletions, now if we can just get the rest on target like that more consistently.

Dropping a pass is one thing.
Not getting your head around looking for the ball is something totally different.

It was a split second play that people are hanging onto to remove DE from the list of bad performers. There were 3 drops out of 29. DE would still only come in right at 50 percent and not far from 150 pass yds.
It's time for the excuses to stop. He just is not what you want him to be and will not be good enough to win us games on his shoulders this year. I hope I'm proven wrong, but so far I haven't been. Looked decent against horrible teams, but has never beaten a good SEC team to date.

You're fricking stupid, there were far more drops, bad/wrong routes, etc than bad passes thrown.

I guess you missed the one that hit Chark in the hands.

There was an obvious flag that the refs missed on that one. There should have been a targeting call on Etling for making direct contact to the head on Gage with the football.

F off!! Gage is a bad arse
Posted on 9/17/17 at 5:24 pm to LuzianaFootball
Let's not forget he got fricked on a 67 yard TD pass to start the game!

Im not going to say Etling is a good quarterback but this is bullshite. Chark dropped a TD that would have added about 60 yards to the stats. He also quit on a very catchable pass on a go route to the end zone. I noticed the DB didnt give up on the ball and almost intercepted it. The Gage debacle was a third down and would have extended the drive. Those are confidence killers. The WRs absolutely have to make those catches.
Get Davis and Sullivan into the mix. Gage should not be starting. Id run Chark until he puked.

More excuses. We always have to point the finger at everyone but DE. Even with the Chark drop and the Foster drop, there's still 13 more incompletions to 13 completions. Every QB experiences BS that happens, but the good ones find a way to make a plan during the course of a game when their team needs it the most. I'm not here to make this loss about DE, but let's not act like he play lights out and every pass hit a player in the face mask.
I get it. He walks on water and everyone is the blame for the rest of the incompletions.

I appreciate Gage's hustle and efforts, but he should not be the player targeted in key situations, like third down & 10.
Also, handing it to Gage on the reverse does not seem like the best strategy, when you have elite athletes like Dillon and Drake Davis.
Also, the coach or coaches who continually despite pathetic offense, kept playing Gage and Chark (a very good athlete, who had his worst game) need to figure things out quickly.
We need to see much more of the taller, talented receivers like Davis, Stevens and Sullivan, and less of Gage.
