Perryn Keys? @PerrynKeys
Russell Reynolds is your #LSU starting pitcher for Game 1 of the CWS. No, this is not a joke.

I'm guessing Reynolds will pitch as long as he is doing well. Giving us 5IP would be great

Reynolds going 5 IP would be more surprising than Gilbert going 7 1/3 yesterday

I am really, really surprised at this. who knows, he may end up to be our big hero. an unlikely one, but much stranger things have happened.

I was wondering why posters weren't considering Reynolds when he didn't do terribly (one of the few) in that first OSU game.

What's up with Strall, though? Wasn't he considered a closer at one point in the season?

I wouldn't read too much into that, but I guess CPM likes what he sees.

This is the same as starting Pearson that one time. Wouldn't be surprised if he only threw 2 innings

Per PM, Todd Peterson has a "tender arm" and "isn't himself right now."

AKA, we're down to our 6th starter in game 1 of the CWS finals.

Couple of tweets

Mainieri said Peterson was dealing with a little tenderness in his arm and "just isn't himself right now"

Had to factor into the decision

Wholestaff approach has worked against UF in postseason before. In the 2014 SEC Title Game, LSU started Cartwright, UF started Whitson

What's his longest outing

I don't know the stats

I felt like Bain would give the most innings as a starter or Peterson if he's on

Let's geaux Reynolds!!
