Alleva has been waiting in ambush for Miles sine he got his legs cut out from him last November.. I have no doubt that he has had the basics of the firing plan in place for months. You are right all he was waiting for was the permission to do it.

This rumor thread is crap but if course Alleva did this and RIGHTFULLY so.

Miles came back this year with zero changes. That was a giant frick you and frankly, he should have been fired the moment it was apparent he'd done that.

He makes a ton, but he's still guy a a boss and giving the middle finger to your boss SHOULD result in being fired

All I ask is proof.

And you're the one saying we should live in the real world? Nobody is going to out an actual source on a public message board. So either believe it or don't believe it but stop asking for sources because you won't get them.

Dupre's draft stock seems to be plummeting, and if you worked around athletes of this age you would know that they rarely blame themselves when bad things happen. Then they hear from their former teammate who is catching 6-8 passes a game at another school, and you just know they are frustrated.

But to your point on sources, do you really believe that on a website with thousands of posters that none of them have any connection to the program?

trigger, it wasn't like they were at brunch on Sunday and as they were breaking up, "what are you guys doing the rest of the day?" JA: I don't know, hell, I might play golf or what the heck, I think I'll run by the office and fire Miles on the way home"

Pete Jenkins was contacted after the Wisconsin loss, asked if he would come on board and when he confirmed was told to get ready.

The plan was in place to be made on the next loss.

Frustrated is code for players not happy with some aspect of coaches. How many times have we heard that word last 3 years.

In the real world if you make a definitive statement of fact you damn well better be prepared to back it up with proof.

I am guessing that the OP isn't a journalist protecting a credible "source".

But if you want to believe in unicorns I guess that's your right. Just be careful because the aliens might get you.

I'm guessing it has a lot to do with his current problems with holding on the the ball. Which I am confident he will remedy.

I know, right?

I've mentioned several big name boosters on here and the post got pulled. Quick!

TD is masked as a gossip rag. That couldn't be further from the truth. If you know a few people and know what to read or where to look, the facts are already around us.

But in the actual world we live in, to reveal a source is to burn him. The only way you'll get somebody to name a source is if they don't have one. So you should probably realign your expectations with reality.

Remember that time there was a fight during halftime of the NC game?

Yeah that was made up too.

And yet people still bring this up today like it's gospel. I'm sure all fan bases are loaded with vocal idiots but, man, it seems like we are the worst.

Alleva acted fast? He should've fired him last year, dunce.

Let me see if I understand your logic. If you reveal your source you lose him. But if you don't have a source you can pretend you do so you don't have to reveal him?

Is that how it works? Really?

There was a contingency plan in place, probably after the first game.

I saw the exchange but didn't get the impression he was upset with Les as much as he was telling him what happened or failed to happen.

I said this from the jump

I also said that this board would make something out of nothing because of it

I think that the out line was there before the season started. Alleva had all summer to tweak it and play with it. All he needed was the trigger. That was the Wisky loss. After that all he needed to do was put the people in place and wait.

A successful palace coupe takes careful and detailed planning.

Miles had lost support of the administration and boosters but not the team.

Then explain all the subconscious stupid mistakes various team members were making: fumbles & dropped passes & 23 yard punts & various mental lapses resulting in penalties.

According to the recent Mike Detillier interview on Dandy Don: "I don’t see Les Miles returning to LSU in 2017. It will be more than one issue, but I see a new head coach at LSU in 2017."

Unless Miles was sexting possible recruits, losing the team was the worst that could happen!
