The bomb squad:

LT Jerald Hawkins (6-6, 309): “Long and athletic. You combine his technique and his pass blocking, he will be special.”

RT Vadal Alexander (6-6, 330): A very good run blocker. He’s played right tackle and left guard. He clears the path effectively. He’s super one on one.”

LG Ethan Pocic (6-7, 301): “He constantly works on his technique. Probably the strongest of all the linemen. He sleeps and breaths football. He loves it.”

RG Josh Boutte (6-5, 340) or K.J. Malone (6’4-295): “Josh will battle you. He’s a giant with the most raw strength I’ve ever seen. He’s ridiculously strong. K.J. is dedicated, consistent and working extremely hard.”

Things are really stacking up to where any start for AJ would be absolutely baffling.

“(Godchaux) could be one of the better d-tackles in the country,” said Clapp. “Jamal Adams has become a leader for the team. Watching him in 7-on-7 drills, he’s making all of the pre snap reads and lining up the defense.”

Why would it be baffling? He's the starter from last season. Jennings has talent all around him to succeed

So was Jordon Jefferson and he brought LSU to the national championship the following season. If Harris is better then he'll start but Jennings is your day 1 starter as of July 29th 2015 until Miles says so.

He obviously has more talent if he was starting all season. This will be his third year, his experience will show in his improvement on the field.

Can we not turn this into a shite on Jennings festival?

It sounds like Harris is maturing and making the natural growth as a player. If he has really put on 24 pounds since last season, that will help him tremendously. He has all the tools, it's his time now. Go out and prove yourself young man!

First of all, he didn't start all season. CLM benched him in favor of a true fish who didn't know the play book.
Just because a guy has the starting job, that doesn't mean he is more physically gifted.

“Brandon has been the guy. He can make every throw. He’s more mature and really grasping everything,” noted Clapp. “He’s more used to getting everybody lined up as a coach and a QB. He can go through all of his pre snap reads and adjustments. It’s much more natural to him now.”
Sounds great.
