How awesome would it be to start out Copeland, then Bring in "Freak" as you get closer to the goal....with Copeland @ tailback.

I don't think it would be as awesome as you think.

When we get to 4th and 2 or 1....would be in our favor to have Freak @ FB...Freak probably has a better 40 than all our FB's

I think it would be cool if we lined up our skill players as linemen and put Chris davenport at tailback. Yiure could let kiki mingo play QB and run an option to the short Side

I think you already have an equivalent option - Hilliard at tailback and Copeland at fullback.

Copeland is, effectively an athletic, undersized offensive guard - he outweighs many defensive ends, outright, 99% of linebackers, and is +30 pounds over a typical fullback. The fact he has, thus far, competently carried the ball gives you a credible FB dive option, where the opposing goalline defense has to account for him out of the I regardless (maybe he's got the ball, maybe he's lead blocking, maybe he's misdirection) gives us short-yardage options that do not require the gimmick of bringing in a defensive lineman to block.

I have a better idea...let's put Hairston in at fullback to block for Lonergan at the 50 yard line.

Don't have a problem with putting the freak at fullback but I think we have better people to carry the ball from the tailback position on the goal line.

Give it to Ware or Hilliard from the tailback position

Considering the coaches wouldn't move Trindon to DE, they'll never go for this.
Great idea though.

Why stop there? Why not 6'6" 350 pound Vadal Alexander at fullback and 6'8" Stephen Rivers at halfback? Daddy long-legs could just step over the linemen for the TD.

Why put Copeland at tailback near the goal line when we have Hilliard?

The jumbo 2 FB formation features Copeland at FB and Kenny Hilliard at HB, with Connor Nabors backing up either position and Jeremy Hill backing up HB
