Yeah I was 4 minutes late on this thread...damn.

Robert Smith is in my same dunce class as Steve A. Smith, Skip Bayless, and Finebaum. I make it a point to never listen to a word any of them say. Eats away at one's grey matter.

His rankings are based on relativity. LSU was expected to contend, Clemson wasn't.

In his own dimwitted way he has a point. We haven't play A grade football and we're #1.

We beat the #3 team that had been in the NC game in January and looks to be heading toward another PAC championship. We beat another top 15 ranked team, on the road, that looks to be heading to winning the Big East.

Did he really give Clemson an A ?????? The same Clemson team that trailed Maryland in the 4th quarter and gave up almost 40 points to them.
And I thought he actually had some common sense to go with that eloquent speaking voice....

That is a compliment from Robert Smith for LSU to get a B. He's saying LSU has been good, but we have yet to see their best.
