the point is not about Ridley's ypc, I was one of the first on here sayin the guy was a stud when others were doubting him, I knew he was a bruiser, but my point is you do not want to use your "main" back throughout the game like that because come crunch time, when it's late in the game and you need that first down to keep the chains moving the guy won't have the energy and power he had early on in the game.
that is why you put in the Fords or Wares or Blue for whatever reason seems to have jumped over both of them, fresh legs makes a difference in big ball games man or just any game, a lot of coaches do this, idiots like Choctaw just can't comprehend that!

quote:I know Ridley's record pretty well. He's one of those backs that will take over the game in the fourth quarter...he gets better with more carries, and this is especially true, with a solid Oline, which we finally appear to be developing. Linebackers and DB's just get tired of being pounded, pushed aside or sidestepped, which is what he'll do to them. If we're close to or holding a lead in the fouth quarter,we need to feed him the ball every other snap or more.Trust me.

have you watched the games, man? dude was "blowin" on the sidelines, that's from exhaustion, you don't need to use a back all the time like that, not with the talent they have.

Split carries? Really? Not as much this year as in the past. I think it's very possible, and I think with better QB play it happens. With that being said Miles will not sit JJ, so there won't be better QB play and Ridley will have a tough time doing it.

Ridley only had a little over half of the rushes against WVU...20 out of 36....dumbass.

Look you stupid little piece of shite, I already don't like you, and if I knew who you were I really would kick your arse, you don't know wtf you are talkin about most of the time and you only say dumb shut to irritate people so -frickOFF!
I wasn't even referrin to the West Virginia game idiot when I said he was blowin hard, but you just had to twist shite like you always do!

As long as they dont try to stretch him outside, this guy will have a big year. The O line is stronger, and Ridley reminds me of Charles Scott with more wiggle. Lets hope his jr season is similar to Scotts
Damn, you posted this in JUNE?!?! At the game last week, when they ran him around the right end I said Ridely is a much better runner straight ahead. Good call bro

And i wasn't referring to your "blowing hard" comment (which im sure you know alot about)...i was referring to your "use him all the time" comment. But obviously stats and numbers are too complicated for you too understand so i'll refrain from posting his % of carries in the other games. You'll probably just get upset and challenge me to a duel or some shite anyways.

I would be surprised if Ridley gets 100 carries this year
considering hes already got 75 that would be pretty tough.
saw this thread was from 6/1....

Actually...i haven't seen a Ford thread in a couple of weeks. Not since Ridley started averaging nearly 6 yards/carry
I started one 2 days ago, wanted to see if his followers had given up on him getting 4-5 carries; by maybe taking some of Blue/Murphy/JJ's.
