Court documents show Briles was aware of off the field incidents

quote:

According to the Houston Chronicle, Briles and former Baylor athletic director Ian McCaw discussed a gang rape involving five football players. Rather than report the incident to authorities, Briles questioned why the woman was hanging around some "bad dudes."

quote:

Rather than go through proper channels to report the incident, McCaw kept it in house and went to Briles and his staff. "When he did, Coach Briles studied the names on the piece of paper. 'Those are some bad dudes,' Coach Briles told (an assistant) coach," the document states. "'Why was she around those guys?'”

Briles needs to do hard time. Could you imagine being the father of one of these girls? I don't know how I could keep myself from killing this scumbag. I hope the pieces of shite that raped these girls die a slow and painful death, disgusting.

Here's my question and has been the whole time: why would she report that to anybody except the POLICE?!?! I'm not excusing Briles, but it just doesn't make sense.

He's a callus sack of shite that should never sniff a sideline again. That's a minimum.

The only thing he's better at than being a piece of shite is...running an explosive offense.

Lots of people for various reasons don't call the police in serious situations.

Those delusional people still wish he was the coach and never did anything wrong.

I'm a Christian and love my church, but I know first hand that people are people and they can do bad things regardless.

I wouldnt put it past the campus police or even Waco PD to receive these reports and take them straight to the AD/Briles. They live for Baylor football there and were riding high at the time. There is a very "West Caanan on Varsity Blues" vibe there.

I came to this thread looking for the Briles apologists who STILL want him. I'm leaving this thread proud of my tigerdroppings community for not having one single "Still want" comment.

...and if you do post after me, I will remain blissfully ignorant as I am never opening this thread again.
