This is probably the one thing we are all looking past the most. I think we're all missing this. Forget about the play calling for a second. We have been pissed on in the trenches the last two years. When I think of people that play on the line for LSU, I think of Spears, andolseck, booger,Whitworth, mawae, mcclure,Dorsey. I could go on and on. None of those guys ever got dominated the way we have been getting dominated in the trenches. That's not lsu football. One of the posters said it best. We are loaded with a whole bunch of talent at the skill positions, but in the trenches we are getting our butts whipped

S&C

In 2011 they spent the whole offseason trying to prepare for Oregon so they got fast and got great results. They've tried duplicating that time and time again and it ends with the DL being weak.

The OL I think is a change in philosophy from Studrawa to Grimes. Grimes likes lighter more agile OL compared to Studrawa's maulers.

Hard to block defenders when everyone in the stadium knows the play before the snap

How about remembering when our OL folks were pre-med and pre-dental majors. That took some smarts. Oh, but that was back in the 70's when these watered-down degree programs for athletes weren't around. You actually had to study something.

Is our "faster" guys getting pushed around? Remember when we had a wall of immovable meat up front..... Maybe thats was saban's philosophy...... Seamed to work then, seams to work now.... For them

Nach was a special center and paired with Big E, it was a devestating group.

Another name lost in the mix was Ralph Norwood. Had a great nasty streak.

Of all the names mentioned, NONE were as game-altering as Andolsek. His fury and passion were unmatched. RIP!

I'll go old school on you. George Rice......Lance Smith........Tyler.........

I'd put myself but I was a gimp and a bit of a teddy bear;)
