Has anyone else heard this crap about giving Saban time to prepare ensures defeat. Does no one remember Iowa, Utah, Texas, etc. I did some research to find out where the two respective coaches stood. Saban is 6-6 in bowl games Miles is 6-3. Saban's overall winning percentage is like 62.75. So it is actually more probable that he loses in a bowl game. Miles overall is 63.1. This of course assuming the info on wikipedia is correct. I never realized it, but the Gumps have made me hate Saban. I never cared until they worshiped him. Now I want to see him become Miles bitch twice in one year to send that shockwave through that septic state.

Maybe im crazy... But I'm not afraid of Saban and his bowl record. If we play our best, we will win.

Les is 2-0 in BCS bowls: a win vs Notre Dame in the Sugar, and vs Ohio State in the BCS Championship.

I think by the time this game comes around Nicky is going to be a basket case. He probably won't sleep the whole week before the game. He will go into the game all tight assed and since most teams are a reflection of their coach I think the team will also play tight, afraid to make a mistake so they don't feel the "Wrath of lil Nicky Saban.". The Tigers will play loose and with swagger as they have all year. I think that playing them already, and beating them, takes the uncertainty away and gives us even more confidence which will make us play even better. Don't be surprised if the Tigers win by 10+.

And if or when that happens don't also be surprised to hear Gumpland and team saying, 'we're still the best team!"

At Bama Saban is 2-3 coming off a BYE. If anything, it sounds like Saban does worse with more time to prepare.

Exactly. He wasn't great at LSU coming off bye week either. And DiNardo beat him in Indie Bowl. I do think Saban's micro managing style works adversely when he's given too much time. As pointed out above it makes the team uptight.

first off, lets stop calling Nick Saban, little nicky, lil nicky, nicky, etc...

secondly, we will win because Miles is better than Saban, and LSU is better than BAMA

Don't sweat it Man. Tigahs play the game with discipline and we win goin away this time. Bama's good, but we're better.

I want to see the statue of Saban tumble like that of Saddam Hussein.

It would be a joyous day if that were to happen.
