Whomever the hire is he will have to hit the ground running, get his assistants in position and let the games begain. What's the residual if Jimbo is a no go? Mullen?

The new staff will reign the recruits back in and maybe even bring in a couple more that wasn't considering us before. We'll be more than fine.

I will take not of this, Bookmark it, take a picture, a screenshot, add it as a background, and screensaver. And let the new coach know

Who cares. We get our guy in, we may catch one or two extra fish and lose a couple, it always happens with stuff like this.

Next year will be the year for recruiting.

Check out Michigan and Florida from a year ago today to now.

Whomever

I still don't know when to use "whomever" vs "whoever".

I know this adds nothing to your thread, but I can't be the only one in this conundrum.

I think the new hire should go on a bender and celebrate. No need to start a job pushing too hard. They can always make up for any losses during next year's recruiting cycle.

Expected and already factored in. Gotta break some eggs to make an omelet. Could it not also be argued that good recruits - especially QB's - were staying away because of the coaching and level of play? Remember - we're all home boys; we all have the prettiest dog in the show. Outsiders might think otherwise.

Yeah, That #1 class we had committed was awful

And how are we doing with those Quarterback-less stellar recruits? Hint: #31 last year; #28 this year. Thank you for making my point.
