Trying to find something positive out of this crazy mess going on right now. Is it coaching? Something deeper then that going on at LSU? Or something I'm missing? Plus guys like Simon, Ware, and Ford leaving knowing they are late round pick. Why not stay get better and IMPROVE your draft stock mostly in Simon's case.

tharold simon has churn and needs money. He can get paid more in the NFL than he can by attending classes LSU.

No.

It's simply, and unfortunately, a snowball effect. After a few juniors declared the rest of the underclassmen saw that and also saw the seniors we're losing and one by one they kept saying "well we're not going to win a national title next year losing all these guys so I might as well declare too." .. and so on down the line, to now we're truly not going to have ANY shot at the title next season.

The limited guaranteed first round money starting last year has a lot to do with this. You will have to prove before you can get a lucrative contract and these guys are thinking that they might as well prove it in the NFL as a late rounder than staying in college for a better draft status.

Ware and Ford wouldn't get enough carries to improve their status. Defensive players have a really good shot at some good money. Next season looking grim if LM makes no move on the offensive side of the ball and that's the part of the game we'll have to lean on next year. Strap it on tight Tiger fans.

Bolden and Randall are leaving simply because they want to have a shot to get some snaps and possibly get drafted

Dumb arse.
They aren't "fleeing" LSU.
They are headed to the NFL b/c that's where their careers are.
None of them , read ZERO, are likely to improve their draft stock enough to offset the reality of the new NFL pay scale, and offset the risk of injury.
Understand that EVERY ELITE program is likely to lose their juniors from here on.
The only ones who won't go are those who have really late round grades, nagging injuries, etc.
LSU , like all other elite programs is playing true freshman because they know as soon as they can, these guys are gone.
This is the new reality of CFB.
Pay attention.

All joking aside, they don't see a program that is improving, but, declining . hate to say, not much player development. Look at A&M thru the season compared to the Tigers. Hate to say it....

Their sock is hot, too much too loss if they get hurt. Look at Marcus Lattimore, would have beed a 1st rounder without that injury

False, they don't see any chance to improve their draft stock. Not one of those guys leaving could do much more to improve their stock outside of Simon and he needed the money

This is why I hate stupid people.
And yet LSU will likely break the ALL TIME school record for players drafted.
So yeah I see your point.
No player development.
