I just have a feeling that the players are going to rally around Miles and really respond, LF is going to take out some serious frustration and look like his early season self again, and that we're going to go in and thump the shite out of these assholes.

Like many, I'm suffering greatly from Miles fatigue as well and would love to see some invigorating new blood in the position. But that won't matter to me one bit Saturday when we're running the ball down these runts' throats.

frick Ole Piss!!!

Les and the fellas will come out swinging on Saturday. Coaches get themselves fired, but players have a say in that too. They all should be accountable for their performance.

Will any of that matter if we have the same problems next year and continue to lose the big games and a some (Arkansas) that we shouldn't?

He looked like himself last week

Not sure what game you were watching but he looked like easily the best player on the field even if it didn't show up in the stat line.

Yeah, that was supposed to be the narrative against a mediocre Arkansas team. We can keep telling ourselves this is the week LSU players get focused and take care of business.

While I would love for that to happen, just don't see it. We play OM in Oxford and this is NOT the same team from 3-4 weeks ago.

Also not trying to be insensitive at all but LF7 should have an easier time running with Ole Miss' Denzel Nkemdiche in ICU and most likely not playing

But RebelGrove.com, a site in the Rivals network, reported that Nkemdiche is actually in the intensive care unit of a North Mississippi hospital, where he has been since being discovered Monday.

The report, which cited unnamed sources, said the reason for Nkemdiche’s hospitalization is unclear. He is the older brother of star junior defensive tackle Robert Nkemdiche,

Oh BELIEVE me, I can't STAND the thought of this lather, rinse, repeat crap we're all of a sudden witnessing with Miles' results. I AM ready for a change. I wish it could be a graceful exit and he would just retire. But either way, if I'm right about Saturday and then we roll A&M next week, the change won't come for at least another year.

We're going to get our asses handed to us again. Kelly is going to dice up our secondary more than any other QB has done this season. Our problems won't be fixed in a single week.

This is a perfect situation for LSU fans. We have a shot at the Sugar Bowl and a shot at replacing our coach! The only way we'll be disappointed is if neither happens.

Why do some of you have to take this confrontational approach? It's bullshite.

What I meant is primarily in his numbers. I am WELL aware of how he looked Saturday night. If you don't believe me here's a thread I started about it on Sunday...

Hate to break it to you bub. This season is done. I hope as much as anyone else we can muster up two more wins, but this team is defeated. Pack it up, get ready for next year.

From what you quoted it's not Robert, but his brother, who's a LB.....

It's Denzel, not Robert. Who has actually been more of an impact player, IMO.

Right and next year we will be talking about the same shite with another team loaded with talent that underachieves. We will be talking how we can salvage another disappointing season after we get curb stomped by Bama and lay down for Arkansas again. Starts at the top boys won't change till Mack Brown, I mean Les is gone.

Believe me, I agree. I just have a feeling the players are going to play their asses off for Miles. Ole Miss is susceptible to a good power run game and if the players are motivated, I can see us running it down their throats.

If they come out flat, after the week of chatter they've been hearing, then they've quit on Miles, which would be even more damaging to him.

I got lampooned for saying LF7 would not rush for 100 yards against Arky and that we would lose badly. I was criticized for saying the same thing the week before.

I am telling you today, while hope springs eternal, there are major issues with this program right now and we are walking into a hornet's nest in Oxford.

Winning this weekend and against texas A&M doesn't change what happened.

Forgetting Les Miles blunders in games just because he wins a couple other ones is what leads him to getting these contract extensions. He's forgiven way too easily considering what he makes yearly and some of the jokes he allows to be on the coaching staff.

And again... I agree WHOLEHEARTEDLY!!! I am SO ready for a change. I'm not campaigning here for Miles to keep his job. All I'm really saying is I have a feeling the team responds on Saturday. Best possible scenario to me would be we ROLL the Bears and the Faggies and Miles then announces his retirement and that the bowl game will be his last. It's too bad there is no way that will happen. It sucks that the only way we'll get new blood is to lose Saturday and to A&M.

If I'm right and he stays, I will NOT have any excitement whatsoever during the offseason looking ahead to next year.
