Reading between the lines. Alleva was never asked about rescheduling...

And Florida said we refused to reschedule on 11/19. All a part of the long term plan for Florida to stay backed out and not have to play us at all. It makes Alleva look like a liar as well. It was well played by Florida all the way around. They definetly check mated The SEC and Joe Alleva all the way around, every step of the way.

All I've heard is the allegation by McMurphy, I don't think Foley mentioned this.

Alleva made it crystal clear in his press conference that November 19 was never offered by Florida. LSU offered to fly into Gainesville Sunday morning and out Sunday night, play Monday, play with no crowd if police unable to be there. Florida wouldn't even look at neutral sites.

He needs to wait until a deadly major hurricane slams the Florida east coast. People need to understand that the storm itself is the hammer than can be slammed over Alleva/LSU's head right now.
The debate about this situation is not going away, and Alleva will have plenty of time later to back up his words today.

Even if true, Florida AD made it to the podium first, played victim, and the media bit on what he said. All I keep seeing and reading is that LSU refused, not the other way around.

Foley didn't mention the 19th. He did, however, mention that LSU tried to get out of playing Florida every year at the SEC meetings this offseason. He set the wheels in motion for the story of LSU being scared. And then someone leaked to ESPN that we refused to reschedule to 11/19.

That press conference happened 3 hours ago, and Alleva said plainly that no talks of rescheduling have taken place.
