A few short weeks ago the consensus on the rant was Miles should be fired. A few wins later and everyone loves him again. On a scale of 1-10 rate your opinion on how good Miles is as our coach.

I give him a 9/10

8.5/10

He's good. I do think he's a little slow to make necessary changes though.

Champonship coach. All we do is win SEC West and SEC titles.
As a winning coach I give him a 9.
As a championship coach I give him a 7 or 8.

I give the Mad Hatter a 9.5, 10 as a recruiter and 9 as a Head Coach. The Mad Hatter Coaches to win the game instead of Coaching not to lose the game.

If Saban is a 9.9, and Urban is a 9.0, Ive got Les as a 8.5. I wouldnt trade him for either one of them though. He's OUR 8.5 and Im behind him 100%.

I'll give Miles a 9.3 out of 10.

Heres why:

Most importantly, and something that seems to be lost these days, is that Miles runs a good, CLEAN program that graduates the kids and gives them a heads up in life. He teaches discipline, and all of his teams have been well disciplned.
The kids love him, and would run through brick walls for him.
He wins. 61-16. BCS title. Nuff said.
Miles is a great coach, and i have always stood behind him. I think we would be idiots to get rid of him.

Great recruiter.

Makes bad personnel decisions at times and he is offensive minded, yet our offense has been a problem past three seasons. Offense has no identity. Recruits a lot of pro set players with spread athletes. Make up your mind and recruit for one system.

Mediocre gameday coach, can't get the basics down at times.

Keeps almost every game close.

Player's coach for sure, everyone plays hard for him.

Classy coach with integrity.

Luckiest coach I've ever witnessed in CFB. Call it Voodoo or whatever...

He is suitable for sure and can improve in some areas. But what you see is what you get from Miles. Everyone just needs to accept it. Do I like him? In some ways, yea, others, no. But he'll get my support as long as he has a LSU logo on. Wouldn't hurt my feelings to see him gone though but I don't desperately want him to leave at this point either.

I'll consider bumping him up a bit if he replaces Crowton...

I'd give him a 9.7 if he could construct a cogent sentence.

8/10,
and too much of a sure thing as far as running a clean program, recruiting, to think about replacing

Enjoy the 10+ a year average Tiger fans, we won't see it again, but Tiger fans will run him out of town nonetheless, may already have
