It's because Twitter is headquartered in California, so Pacific Time can pop up even in other time zones.

According to the hourly forecast, all the storms should clear out of BR by 9:00. We don't have to make a call on whether to play until 9:15, so still time to get the game in.

Just watched maineri on channel 2, basically said lightning keeps striking so there's no definite start time.
NCAA says you have to wait 30 min before you can get back on the field, then they'll need another 45 to properly warm up. So if the delay isn't lifted by 8:45, it ain't gonna happen tonight.
ETA As they have until 10 pm to start the game tonight. Also said probable DH tomorrow starting at 1, but he hasn't talked with the media/scheduling folks yet.
