I'm really stoked to see what this kid is going to do. I think he may be in line for a pretty big year as a freshman.

His size, speed/quickness, and agility are going to be PERFECT for Aranda's attacking LB spot. RB's are going to have a hard fricking time picking up a 250 lb guy running that fast right at them.

I imagine he's going to put a lot of people on their arse.

I'd love to see him up against LF 1-on-1. I'm not sure who would win, which is crazy because DW is a true-freshman and LF is LF.

Adams is fixing to have a big year.

For sure. I think a guy like donte Jackson could play in that rover type spot and try to cause some havok like Tyrann. Just a matter of if he can tackle.

The think I'm most excited about with this defense is we will never look stale. Not base 3rd and chavis 2 min drill bull shite. He has an attacking nature. But not in a sell out go for broke type thing.

Like Aranda said in his introduction press conference "smart aggression"

My guess is that goes to Thomas. He caught a lot of hell last year but I choose to blame Steele for our DB confusion. He is still talented, hopefully he comes back to his pre-injury form

The secondary is so stacked this year. I pumped for Toliver. He played way above his age and experience last year.

That right there should put the fear of God into every team we play.

This quote would be a lot better if he said "with longer arms."

Thomas was not good last year. was a step slow a lot and missed tackles. Hope he comes back better off that injury. But at lsu it's next man up. We have too many talented corners to play guys struggling. I don't care who it is as long as it's someone that will make the plays he's expected to make.

Ron brooks one of my favorite corners at lsu. He had trouble sniffing the field but ball hawked when he was out there

I had ELRC class with Thomas three years ago and he was a cool dude so I want to see succeed. Plus he was really good in 2014 so I hope he gets back to that.

There is just a stupid amount of talent in this secondary. That was so frustrating about last year because they did so much finger pointing and raising their hands "who done it". I am going to say that's on the coaching.

Bound to be a great nickel between Jackson, Thomas, Paris, Smith, Fulton, lewis ect.

I wish we could play in the Big 12 for a year. This defense would feast.

I missed the players' interviews. Is there any way to rewatch them? Thanks.

I know it's cliche around here to make fun of the way Les talks, but this quote has my head hurting:

quote:

So Karl Malone could be a very good -- Jr., could be a very good -- Sr. could be a very good player, too, but Jr., left guard, left tackle.
