Do you plan on going back this year IF they select LSU again. I went last year (also went in 04) and the experience left a bad taste in my mouth. I know they have addressed the field issues but that still doesn't make up for the miserable playing surface last year that really dampered the game experience. The stadium is average at best and the surrounding area doesn't offer much excitement. I've talked to at least a dozen other Tiger fans that feel the same way.

Yes, I will go if that's the bowl we play in, and I'm sure I'll have fun.

That said, I share your sentiments...give me choice of Cap1 and Cotton this year, and I definitely prefer the Cotton.

It's in a bad part of town and the stadium itself is the pits.

Orlando is definitely a fun town, but the fun is far from where that stadium is.

I'll go for the week this year like I did in 2004.
Last year just flew in and back on game day.
I need a vacation and a week in Orlando sounds nice.

I went in 04 and was planning on going last year but decided last minute not to go. It was the first Bowl game i had missed in 7 years and i feel i lucked out not having to make that 14 hour drive again and watch that miserable game. With that being said i would absolutely not go back to the Cap one bowl again if they took us.

One of the supposed big plusses of the CapOne is warm Orlando weather.

The rain/cold made last year's experience one of the worst ever (not to mention the osprey flying overhead that pooped on me).

I would go back but will probably take a long hard look at the weather forecast first and the birds flying around the stadium.

Personally, I'd like to see LSU play A&M. I remember watching them kick our butts in Tiger Stadium when I was a kid. A lot more history than playing a flash in the plan program like Michigan State. It's only a matter of time before the Cotton passes Cap One is prestige. We still might attend Cap One if LSU is selected but can't say I'd be pumped about the experience. Excited to see LSU play? Of course, just not in that enviornment versus that particular opponent.

Factoring in the POS stadium in the bad part of town, and the fact that the week between Christmas and New Year's is probably the single worst week to go to Disney of the year because of the crowds, I doubt I'll ever go to that game.

No. Most of the other new years festivities were rip offs, and it's too far of a drive. Terrible area and bad venue.

Plan on a great new years eve, and watching on tv if we go.

How many did fans did LSU put in the stadium last year? I could be wrong, but it seems as if PSU had us outnumbered? You'd have to think our attendance would be lower this year.

I'd say it was 55-45 Penn State.

Universal wasn't that crowded (in 2004).
