Are you being serious or trolling? Honestly I'm just wondering. I don't see how you can reasonably be content enough with the product on the court to justify keeping him around. I'm sure he's a nice guy, and that's great. But as a fan who loves LSU basketball, I personally believe I deserve better than what is on the court right now. I don't think our talent is far off from the teams who are blowing us out; we really have some good players. If he could somehow turn it around I'd be a huge fan. But it's not going to happen. It blows my mind that some people defend his job status at LSU. That being said, Geaux Tigers.

I like CJJ as a person and he's been a great representative of LSU from that stand point.

However, he can't coach worth a lick and we needed a change at the end of last year.

This feels eerily similar to the "Question for those defending Les Mles" posts from last year.

It's worse than what you're saying. He CAN coach, and very well, but he isn't doing it right now, and it warts the hell out of me.

Exactly who do you see defending him? I've seen a few sarcastic/joking posts but certainly you don't think they mean it?

Saw a few threads after the Kentucky game that I could not believe. It baffles me but yes these people exist.

I disagree. Not comparable. Les had a top 5 team coming back and had won a national title and 2 SEC titles. Johnny? Couldn't make the tourney with the top draft pick and now will probably finish the season with one SEC win. Both needed to go, but this one is much more obvious. I can't even think of an argument playing devil's advocate that makes me think twice.

This is such horse shite.

I guess, technically speaking, he can coach. But, technically, I can also stand out there and do the same coaching he does. You can say anyone in the world can "coach" but just how good are they at it?

JJ has proven at all his stops, not just here, he is an average coach at best, probably below average normally. He never deserved this job and if you believe he did, I have some beach front property in Montana to sell you.

No, you're wrong, you don't just coach bad and then coach good, you may make good or bad decisions from game to game but you're either a good coach or a bad one. Johnny is "not" a good coach.
