Someone is offering to sell an autographed BC football. My question is what price range do I offer if its a recent signature, no letter of authenticity and not in a case ? I know some of his stuff can go for 100's but I need a little help . Anyone can scribble an autograph .

$40-$50. Market is glutted with Billy Cannon stuff. It ain't that hard to get, and there is little demand for it.

If I remember right, cannon signed stuff goes for about $30 over the value of the object that is signed....he signs a hell of a lot, so it is pretty cheap...

I've talked to billy cannon one on one several times for extended periods of time and he has signed tons of shite for me. I'm sure the market is low. I hear a lot of old timers that hate him but he's a funny SOB with a lot of good stories to tell... IF he's in a good mood.

Sports memorabilia is only worth what someone is willing to pay. The $100 autograph football is worth $100 until you find a hardcore fan that is willing to buy it from you for $125. If you really like this particular item, plan to keep it forever and hand it down to your kids, than $100 is not bad. However, if you are not in a rush to purchase this, you can most likely find it cheaper. I can't count the number of Cannon autographs we have in our family. There are not hard to get.

I just got an old school replica full sized helmet signed by Billy Cannon on eBay for $175. I think the helmet is pretty cool and I don't have any LSU signed items. Gridironmemories.com sells the one I got for $295. LINK

The ole Billy bill..... I remember when the student section was throwing them around at a game after he went down. Oversized with his pic in the President's circle...Anybody have one?
