Should I get tickets now or wait and just buy at the gate?

For those of you who went two years ago, how crowded was it and what were ticket prices like?

My plan is to get them at the gate, but I have never been.

The tickets are $17 per game or $41 for the weekend pass I believe. All tickets are general admission and only the lower bowl is open. Great atmosphere and I highly recommend you go if able.

It's general admission. I don't see how buying tickets early gives you any advantage.

You can get them at the gate, but I went a couple of years ago and I'd advise you get general admission tickets now that way you're not stuck waiting in line... LSU games had really good crowds and the best seats fill up fast. Of course it depends how close you want to be to the field....there will be tickets avail to answer your question, but if you want seats by dugout or close to the field you'd better show up with tickets in hand and probably get there early.

I believe one general admission ticket gets you into each game that day, but I could be mistaken. It's a good field this year. I'd get general admission tickets and go see as much baseball as you can

General admission , no need to buy in advance , prices were reasonable but I don't remember exactly . They only sell lower level seats . Plenty of seats , majority LSU crowd

The only thing you should buy in advance is if you want Diamond Club tickets for $60. Otherwise general admission.

It's cheaper to buy at the gate

I look at it this way.

But them online it takes you 2 minutes.

Wait to buy at the gate and you're standing in line for 45min.

Yep. The advantage to buying them early is so you don't have to wait in line for tickets. Otherwise it's GA for seating. Minute Maid is a great place to watch baseball and the lowers are all good seats. LSU games will be fairly packed but still have decent seats open after first pitch.

As far as I can remember there is no RV lot but paid open parking on the outfield side of MM. I don't know the rule on RVs.

No, because you don't have access to the actual diamond club for the game.

yes, hopefully they are better prepared for concessions for this event. It was crazy busy last year and i think they sold out of a bunch of stuff.

It's all general admission which makes it a very pleasing event.

Are there any areas/activities specific to kids? If I go, it will be with my two and four-year-old, and I know there is no way they will sit still for the whole game.

I use my student ID and buy student price tickets for my entire family. I graduated in December of 2008. Significantly cheaper. They don't give a shite.
