We have a good enough team to be undefeated and riding a wave of two undefeated seasons. We haven't played anoine more talented than we are. Coaching has lost our last three games. Three of the most important games in terms if national prominence.
Here's the difference. Our fanbase is content with "fine."

Alabama is on the verge of three national championships in four years. Apparently, they aren't content with "fine."

LSU has been ranked in the top 10 in the country for almost 2 years now. We won the conference championship of the country's toughest conference last season. We have lost two regular season games in the past two seasons. We played in the BCS national championship game last season.

You're right.....we suck. We should just fire every coach and start from scratch.

And we still lost.
So the question becomes, how much better does our talent have to be, relative to our opponent, to overcome Miles' idiocy on gameday? That gap appeared to have widened last night.

So, fine is now what is expected?
And losing games we had every chance to win, because of decisions our coaches made is the new normal?

Yes, LSU football is fine. I just hate losing the ones that we should win. The last two minutes were not as important as the fake FG. That set up Ala for the 7 pts at the end of the 1st half....boneheaded decision since the probability of success was so low.

Not many are saying this...just that we are looking like a perennial #2 to Bama. Some can't live with that, some can...

You know, it's actually ok to want an undefeated season. All of us do. Where you have unrealistic expectations is that you expect undefeated seasons. They happen, but it takes a lot of luck, just ask Bama yesterday. They were lucky to win yesterday.

Bama is at least as talented as LSU is, I don't know how you could look at that team and think they aren't loaded. We competed and lost a tough one. We comepeted last year and won a tough one in Tuscaloosa. Against a coach like Saban and a team like Bama, you just cannot expect to win every single time. We compete and play them harder than anyone, that's all you can expect.

What you're demanding of LSU football is completely unrealistic and it's what drives great coaches out of town. Maybe you need to look at yourself when you're finding losing 2 games a year to be unacceptable.

Direction of Tiger Football? Right direction. I'm still angry we lost the game last night. We lost the game but gained a team that can play defense and offense. I truly feel LSU is about to play dominant football.

LSU football team, I salute you. Y'all play hard. Coaches took some gambles and they backfire but that's o.k. Coach Miles went for the jugular and I respect that. Go LSU

Uh yeah....we totally out coached Bama. Didn't watch the game?

Our gameplan and execution was tremendous. There are a couple things we could and probably should have done differently, but that's true in every football game.

The more prepared team lost Saturday night

clearly not, we need to fire him today so we can pick up Houston Nutt or Dan Hawkins while they're still on the market...

We're an elite program. This is the golden age of LSU football. Unfortunately it happens to coincide with Bama's current stretch. Sucks.

We're good enough to challenge Bama and even win some but overall we're not as good.

Honestly, i have never been a huge Miles fan. BUT Here is the question.... Who the frick are you going to replace him with????? Who would even want the job? Anyhing short of a Nat Championship would be considered a failure.

False, we are the sixth talented team according to recruiting rankings over 5 years. About even with uga and aub, less than UF and Bama. According to every national recruiting site, we are not as talented. Throw in the 23 players that has missed games, and we are no where near the most talented team in our own division.

You vant bitch about having the 18th ranked class, then say we are the most talented team.
