I've been critical of the guy, but he redeemed himself in the OU game. He stepped up on the big stage and played with swag. Gotta give credit when it's due.

But his problem has always been being a no show in certain games. He has to show up at Auburn. This is as close to a must win game as it gets

Quarterman and Blankeney were both really impressive against OU IMO. Awesome game from both of them.

I wish he could play without the ball in his hands .. He's neutering Bens ability to run the team........

Earthworm Tim played with a killer mentality. It was fun watching him during warm-ups/halftime. You could tell he was not fricking around.

He never lost any respect from me.....he plays harder, plays smarter, and takes care of the ball better than any other of our PG options.

It's obvious from the get go when Tim is locked in. If Tim is joking around, having fun, enjoying himself, he's unstoppable

People keep saying that about TQ but no one plays well without the ball in their hands. I blame our stagnant offense.

He shot great Saturday, but still didn't earn my respect. He still made multiple stupid, very lazy passes and he just isn't playing like a point guard. I can't stand watching him dribble around for 30 seconds until we have to throw up a shot. Wish Gray would step up and be a point guard, but he just isn't play good. I like Quarterman at the point, but I wish he could put the ball in Blakeney and Simmons hands more. Craig Victor needs as many touches as possible, everytime he got the ball in the post against OU, it was an automatic bucket.

this is correct. TQ plays great in big games, but lets down sometimes against weaker teams. Got to keep the focus and intensity throughout the season.

Of course there are ups and downs, but we need to see a more steady TQ. He certainly has the ability.

As incredible as his shooting was on saturday, his decisions down the stretch were equally as frustrating.

I understand you have to take the good with the bad, but some of those drives and wild shots to draw contact were tough to watch.

I bet Quarterman is glad you changed your mind. He probably couldn't sleep at night.

He's talented. I believe he will finish this year off strong and claim All-SEC. Wonder what the locker room take is on him. Is he coachable or has Jones left him alone towards the end of the season and he takes over?

My perception is that there was, and still is some Alpha stuff going on as both definitely want to be the primary ball-handler (Simmons said as much in SI a week or so back).

But at some point, judging from comments in the paper by Ben, Simmons for the most part has delegated that duty to Q.

Still seems to be some awkwardness when the two are on the court together. Don't know if we'll ever quite get past that.
