Nice sentiment... but probably not a possum. Much more likely it's an armadillo digging the holes. Possums prefer trees.

I had him in the crosshairs of my .22 a couple nights ago. I let him live. I felt like I'd be a traitor to LSU baseball if I took the shot. Although I also have the occasional armadillo too.
