Watching LSU and other SEC games numerous times each game my screen will go black with message: " loading-please wait" pops up. It lasts 2-15 seconds usually at critical times.Does anyone else have this problem or is it my equipment?

I don't have this issue

Maybe it's your internet speed?

I am hooked up through Suddenlink and have had only a few issues throughout the season, but have had some.

could be a faulty router . My Charter internet was sucking dick and then i went to best buy and bought a Netgear Nighthawk Router. Its a lil expensive but im paying for 30 megs and getting 45-60 with this new router when on my old belkin i was only getting maybe 20 max and it fluctuated lower and was shite.

I have beast Internet but I somrtimes get this issue only on watchespn with roku.

I have around 150 mb down with an expensive router so it's not on me.

I also stream watchespn on chrome cast, iPhones, iPads, laptops, etc and never a single problem.

I've read that watchespn messes up with roku so there is something going on there. I just use my chrome cast instead. It's kind of better to stream the games through it any ways because I can load from phone and close out app after it loads and it still streams the entire game. Even if I turn off my phone

It's most likely the roku app for watchespn. Especially since you have really good cable internet. Some people can't even get the watchespn app to load on certain versions of roku.

I have no issues streaming anything else on roku except watchespn, which will do exactly like you say.. I also use other streaming devices with watchespn with no issues whatsoever

Unplug ur router. Wait 60 seconds. Plug back in. Log back in ESPN app.

Yes, it could be your internet speed. I had 3Mb/sec download speed and WatchESPN buffered a lot. I now have 9 Mb/sec download speed and I have no problem. If you watch You Tube videos and they stop and buffer periodically, that is likely your problem.

WatchESPN is a streaming application requiring high bandwith (internet speed). Also, if your computer is over five years old or so and you have Windows XP, you will likely have problems.

If you are viewing over a wireless network in your home through a router, you can get faster speeds by hooking up directly to your router via an ethernet cable.

Last but not least you need quite a bid of memory on your PC, probably no less than 4 GB.

The more current your PC, your network router, and your internet provider, the more successful you will be.

Good luck! With the right equipment, watching WatchESPN is almost as good as watching it on TV!

Buffering problem I assume. Not sure what causes it or how to fix it, but I have the same problem. Luckily it only happens once or twice a game.
