Problem with Jefferson being used in "situations"

Jefferson came in on 4 & 1 and everyone in the stadium knew it was going to be a QB sneak. However, instead of running on the field calling the play and executing, we had to burn a TO and should have been flagged for breaking the huddle with 12 men. So instead of a short QB sneak we almost had a 4 & 6 and lost a TO.
Just don't think Jefferson is capable of playing in spots without costing us more (in TO's, penalities and/or turnovers) than we gain in his ability to run.
Breaking the huddle with 12 against Florida or Bama will cost us the game.
What little bit he gives us on the ground is not worth risk that he brings. Simply put, he is 4 years in and still doesn't seem to have a grasp of some basic concepts, such as counting the huddle before you step into it.

What is it you hope to accomplish with this post?

What happened was that Jeffrson told the guy that was supposed to go out but didn't to stay in the huddle to see if the officials would notice. He even held his jersey to make sure.
The extra benefit of that would be to get the football ignorant LSU fans in a snit.

Everyone knew it was going to be a sneak - knew it even more after the TO - but was it successful? Yes. I have never heard about a wimpy flag that should have been called so much in my life that actually favored LSU by not being called. It ain't like we ran the play with 12 players against their 11. Who cares? Bottom line - it worked.
We beat an even more talented Bama team last year with JJ. We beat Florida in the Swamp with Lee. But both QBs played and contributed in both games. I'd like to just roll with Lee if we can, but sometimes there may be situations where JJ brings an advantage to the table. For one play that needs a yard - JJ is probably the right call right there even though some fans didn't care for him coming in.

Right before Miles called a TO. Or was Miles being goofy again?
Wha made Miles call the TO? 12 men were on the field with the new QB, right?

I'm still searching for that penalty.
What ya got?
Now since you were on the sidelines and plugged into the coaches headsets, I'm sure that you heard why the TO was called. Tell us what they said.

That's an exact quote? Who is the "he" in question? Miles, Coach Krag, Coach Stud? Tell precisely what was said.

don't try to think logically or weigh the pro vs cons. He's miles boy and he will be with us for the rest of the year. Apparently sitting on the bench does not prove that he is an accepted part of the team, thus he has to play. Bottom line in order to be the best team we have to be able to support a handicap, and we well may be able to.

Gumbo time ... some real good home-cooking there and we caught a big break. Ferguson was talking it up during the broadcast and so were the ABC guys
