Sheds some light on talent leaving LSU (both to NFL + transfers)

Right, we have a lack of experienced talent.

This is a good article but you can't excuse the kind of play and blame 0/13 on third downs because players are going into the pros? Why even have a coach to produce 0/13 on third downs? That has nothing to do with the exodus of talent, that is the complete abandonment of coaching.

So you make your first post an article that's been posted 4 times already and site lack of talent as what the article was trying to point out only it wasn't. Bravo

How about at least half of them were playing Friday night games last year?

I guess we should fire him because his players are so talented that they leave early, or transfer because they cannot break into the lineup due to superior talent ahead of them...I don't always agree with CLM's coaching decisions, but, I am not wearing his shoes either...I don't see him out here telling me how to drill a hole in the ground, so I will try to refrain from telling him how to coach...Still doesn't keep me from venting after terrible losses like I have witnessed this year...

Never post, mostly just read-- didn't realize first post needed to be earth-shattering. Also didn't say the article was pointing anything out-- just shared as "insightful."

Bravo for the typical "be a douche to the new guy" post.

If only the coaches had told Harris not to overthrow receivers or not scramble out of the when he didn't need to. Darn it!

The coach had ample enought time to settle in on a QB. 3/4 of a game agaisnt new mexico state is not enough preparation for SEC play. Overthrowing receivers falls on the coach. Harris isn't paid $4mil a year.

Not sure exact number, but I'm willing to bet that better than 50% of Jarvis Landry's catches were on 3rd down. That's why LSU was 0-13 on 3rd down

Agreed - A lot of sunshine pumpers keep bringing up the "youth" of this team to give the coaching staff a pass. The biggest disappointment, and a major game issue, is the mega subpar performance of the offensive line. The O/L is the most experienced group on the team and was being touted as a solid unit because of it. Well, that kinda shoots the "youth" excuse to crap. That points to "coaching".

Whats more is that the LBs aren't young either, and the best group on the field might be the "youngest" and most inexperienced of all, the WRs.

Damn! I think the coaching has been pretty putrid this year, but I've yet to see Miles, Cameron, Chavis, etc. attempt a pass. A coach can't make the throws for the QB
