Cam Cameron has always utilized the te position.....

That's what I am most excited about.

He needs a red shirt year to bulk up to college TE size. Only 220 lbs right now. Built more like a WR than a TE.

If we had depth already, then yes. But he'll come in as the best pass catching option at TE... plus he's an early enrollee. Also, the 2014 class has the next super-stud already committed (Jacory Washington).

It's Logan Stokes, not Smith.

You're right. I thought he was coming in early...

This is so wrong. Smith wont play much. We recruited a JC TE Stokes to come in and play immediantely.

you forgetting about Dickson already. He has some experience, is bigger than Smith is now, and is a pretty dam good pass catching TE. Plus STokes is ready to play. Wouldn't have recruited him if they didn't think he was more than capable.

Stokes is an interesting cat inasmuch as I'll look forward to seeing how he's used. I wouldn't be surprised to see him in a FB/H-back role as a senior after Copeland leaves.

Smith is easily the best receiving TE on the roster once he arrives, so no doubt he plays. Hopefully his blocking skills are decent so there is no reason to keep him off the field

I have reason for optimism without Bowling Green's OC running our offense

being he is basically a WR trying to play TE right now that's not saying much. Don't see why people are overlooking Dickson.

Dickson is a solid player, but Smith is the most talented TE we have had in a while. They will both play plenty anyways.
