This will be a big next two series to sort out the SECW

3-3. We stay hot and win the MSU series then drop one on the road at Ole Miss.

Sweeping this weekend awarded them the opportunity of losing next weekend and it not being terrible

3-3 would be great

3-3 seems about right. Maybe 4-2 we have really picked up play in the SEC.

3-3 would be perfectly fine. 4-2 would be huge because the next two after that are against hapless Arkansas and Tennessee and LSU could really do some damage to those two.

4-2. Then we sweep Tenn and Arkansas, and close SEC by dropping two of three to Florida.

Finish 20-10.

I think we go 4-2. We've been playing well against SEC teams recently. Kinda sucks we lost to McNesse State, Lamar, and Tulane in mid week games already, or we'd be a lot better off.

Had this discussion earlier with a friend.
Look at 1997 and 2009 midweek records. They weren't unblemished. That's the only 2 years I researched. I figured two years would be enough to make my point.

Bottoms line: we finish with 19 SEC wins, we're hosting a regional no matter what happens midweek.

3-3, take State series at home and lose series to Runts on the road.

By the way, Cincinnati took two of three from Tulane this weekend in New Orleans. That season starting sweep of the Bearcats, who are alone in first place of the AAC, is looking pretty good right now.

The midweek losses were disappointing, but it's baseball, it happens.

We shouldn't have lost any, but Lamar and Tulane aren't that bad this year.
