Yeah I think if there's going to be a crowd funding type thing, it shouldn't be directly connected to LSU. Of course we can spread the word about it to Tiger nation but we don't want to make a controversy out of an already shitty situation

This is sad news. I went cover one of UHigh's game when Nick was just an 8th grader and randomly asked about the young running back to a random guy watching the game. It turned out to be Mendel. I only met him the one time but he was a very nice guy. Prayers sent out to Nick and his family.
