dang. I talked to his mom last year at the La. High School magazine shoot. she was a sweet lady. sorry to hear this about his brother and his mom.

Terrible situation. Mendel truly was the rock of that family. He, Nic, his mom, and their youngest brother sat behind us at the game yesterday. Great family. Rip Mendel

Just made a call to someone who will speak to Alleva tomorrow about getting approval from the NCAA. Will keep everyone posted.

That is good to her hope alleva can do something that the NCAA will not find as a problem. If anybody need some help is for nic and his family. I remember reading the article aroun signing day about him and his family how they didn't have water to bath in and no food and how many times they have been evicted. On top of that his mom's cancer now this. I also like that he will have coaches like miles and frank Wilson and others who will be there for him. Nick and manny miles are really good friends and I remember les miles sai how nick used to sleep on his couch whe he came to spend the night at manny miles house. so I know les miles will do something for them if it is legal
